This review is from a person who hired this attorney.

Quick, Quite, Done...

I was accused of making a false phone call to 911. Williston Police tried to charge me with making the phone call, and causing a "public safety hazard". They were seeking a written apology (most likely to be published in the paper) and a $1000 fine to cover "Fire Department" coasts. My father is an N...YC firefighter - and that wasn't happening. Ian did not hesitate when I told him to tell the Fire and Police Departments to pound sand, and I would NOT be writing a check for $0.01. I was ready to take it to court, but because of Ian, the Fire Department and Williston PD folded, and the charges were dropped. As Ian will admit, he is not the "least expensive" attorney in Burlington - however, I'd rather be the one with the gun at the knife fight. Right? So, thank you to Ian, for handling my situation quickly, quietly and getting my desired outcome. I will recommend Ian given the chance; and although I hope to never need his assistance again, I wouldn't hesitate to hire him or his firm.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
