Jared attended the George Washington University Law School in Washington, D.C., where he graduated cum laude. He also holds a Bachelor's degree from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois. He moved to Waterville in July 2012 after his wife accepted a professorship at Colby College. Jared enjoys hiking, skiing, reading, sports, and live music concerts of all types.
