Jared attended the George Washington University Law School in Washington, D.C., where he graduated cum laude. He also holds a Bachelor's degree from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois. Jared has legal experience in areas of family law, estate planning, civil litigation, and criminal defense.
He moved to Waterville in July 2012 after his wife accepted a professorship at Colby College. Jared enjoys hiking, skiing, reading, sports, and live music concerts of all types.
