Karen E. Boston

Karen Boston has successfully represented thousands of people in the areas of personal injury, family law and civil matters. Whether a victim of a motor vehicle accident, a person with a serious family law matter, or a person who has suffered serious injuries, Boston accepts the challenge and seeks to obtain the best results possible for her clients. 

From the get-go of entering private practice, Karen has represented people in personal injury matters. For nearly 20 years, Karen has successfully handled wrongful death matters, motor vehicle accidents, slip and falls, assault, and negligent infliction of emotional distress cases. Karen has experience working with persons who have sustained traumatic brain injuries. 

A substantial portion of Karen's practice is devoted to her family law practice. She handles divorces and custody disputes for clients in several counties, as well as grandparents’ visitation and guardianship matters. Karen represents both plaintiffs and defendants in protection from abuse matters. Karen has served as a past chair of the Maine State Bar Association's Family Law Section and also previously served as vice chair and secretary. Boston has spoken at legal seminars throughout the state. Karen currently serves on the Maine State Bar Association CLE Committee and is also a rostered Guardian ad Litem in the state of Maine.
