Precise and thorough
Completed the work she was hired for. Professional. Either her or her paralegal always responded to my emails within 24 hours (even when I sent a ton!) I felt like she had a strong presence in court room which resulted in optimal outcome.

Awful experience
She made no effort in court, and made almost no preparation. I always had to contact her, she was very hard to reach. She comes off like an airhead and always confused. The Attorney made me feel like I was a burden to her but was more than happy to take my money. I didn’t feel well represented.

She’ll take your money and run
Gave her the retainer she blew threw it in less then a month and did nothing! Felt more like she was working for my ex than me! Does not care about helping or winning a case! Save your money
If you plan on going to trial , DO NOT USE M. Portas . 80k and years wasted with her as my attorney, only to have her show complete incompetence once trial actually started. Find someone who cares enough about your cause , not just making money.
