Mr. Adam Sherman Esq successfully defended against my 'driving while suspended' charges and protected me from further loss of license. Due to late payment of a previous ticket (driving without seat-belt), my Maine Driver's License was suspended. But because of a disruption in my mail service, I w...as unaware that I my license had been suspended. Unfortunately, I was subsequently pulled over in Bangor and was shocked to be charged with multiple tickets including a very problematic 'driving while suspended' ticket. Mr. Sherman traveled to Bangor District Court on my behalf and successfully got all charges DROPPED. His legal prowess not only saved me a $375 penalty, but ALSO saved me from further loss of license. I was extremely impressed and grateful for Mr. Sherman's outstanding defense. And I would strongly and enthusiastically and without reservation recommend Mr. Sherman as a criminal/traffic defense attorney. I was VERY satisfied with my legal outcome. My only complaint is that it was sometimes difficult to get Mr. Sherman to promptly respond to my text/email questions.

I do not recommend this lawyer. I am a CDL driver and received couple of tickets in Lewiston, ME. Two or more out of service violations(which is criminal misdemeanor in the State of Maine), brakes not adjusted, ligths etc(regular traffic citations). I searched online for lawyers and I contact Mr Sher...man-traffic and criminal lawyer. After hiring him and paid $1000, I sent all the citations via email and expected that everything will be fine. Long story short, I received a letter from the State of Maine, that my CDL is suspended. After research, found that because of the traffic citations, which I thought, Mr Sherman is taking care of them. Well, no! For those the traffic ones, he does not, only for the criminal misdemeanor OUT OF SERVICEs ones. When I hired him, I specifically mentioned all my tickets, and I never thought that the regular citations are not included in the $2000 cost which he asked. Sadly my CDL was already suspended, and did not have much else to do, than pay the fines, to renew the CDL immediate. I hired another attorney which took the case further with no other problems. He was impressed about Mr Sherman, saying that he(the new lawyer) would have done all tickets in one, at the first appereance, at a fraction of his cost. Not only that the new lawyer did a great service, at a lower price, but I even did not have to be present in court, fact that Mr Sherman, insisted that I must be in court present. The deepest regret from all this, is the suspension of the license. It will remain forever on the record. Which will impact my further insurance costs, hiring processes and much much more.
