I earned my J.D. Degree from Maine Law School in 1992. Since then, I have worked in private practice, except for the five years I was a judicial officer in the Family Division of the Maine District Court where I presided over family law cases. I am now back in private practice and feel I have been effective in helping people deal with a variety of legal issues with more flexibility.

I have represented numerous clients in Maine's District, Superior, and Probate Courts, both as an Attorney and as a Guardian ad Litem. I work with families to set up wills and trusts, special needs trusts, and to address their other estate planning needs.

Lisa represented me in my divorce. I could not have asked for a better attorney. I feel that I got the best possible settlement because she thought of things I didn't even think of and my ex had a bulldog for a lawyer and Lisa even out thought him. She is the BEST! thank you lisa.

Excellent Lawyer!

I originally called Lisa with some general probate questions. She ended up not only fully answering all my questions but actually helping me solve my problem completely!! All in one phone call!! And I live in the Seattle area!! It was all wrapped up by the following day! The 1st attorney’s office I reached out to set me up for a video appointment for a month out for $425 for just the initial consult!!! Needless to say when I have further legal business in Maine I will be gladly looking up Lisa again! A+!

You wont be sorry for choosing Lisa

Lisa was extremely helpful from the minute I started speaking with her on the telephone. My husband had recently passed away and she helped me process my will. She was sincere and did not try to take advantage of a situation which I often felt from the few other lawyers I contacted. I highly recommend Lisa.

Plain and simple

Lisa explains everything in plain a easy to understand language. She is excellent at helping people navigate the legal system and doesn’t make things more complicated (costly) for her clients. Lisa is compassionate but also practical. I would (and have) recommend her to anyone in need of her services.

Relieved

My partner and I needed to have our wills written. We called Lisa and found out what information she needed from us. She wrote them and came to our house to deliver. Very nice, reasonable.

Competently Managed my Complex Divorce Case

I can't say enough good things about Lisa's process and results in managing my complex divorce case from start to finish. My former spouse hired a supposedly high-powered (and I am sure very expensive) "star" attorney who was aggressive and forceful. Lisa turned the tables, set the tone, never backed down, and achieved stellar results in my case. I would recommend her without reservation.

Smart, no nonsense, compassionate approach

I retained Lisa for my parental rights and responsibilities case. She was honest, knowledgable and client-focused! She was always well prepared and relentless in the court room. Her straightforward approach helped me to gain a better understanding of what may happen and to feel prepared. Excellent Lawyer

I highly recommend Lisa as a lawyer. Lisa is kind, compassionate, and very knowledgeable. Lisa gave me great advise even when she knew it may not lead to a paycheck. I found her very ethical and easy to talk to . Lisa was able to explain complex legal protocols pertaining to insurance companies in a way that made sense. Very quick response time.
