I am most grateful to Cameron for helping us to shut-down the State's relentless, mindless persecution of my wife. The State's Bureau of Motor Vehicles is a nightmarish, bungling bureaucracy. You should not go it alone when attempting to reason with this multi-headed beast. It will only get you in...to deeper trouble. After receiving an unjust citation for operating after suspension, we decided to avoid the hassle of arguing with the State, and plead "no contest" so that we could pay our fine and get on with our lives. WRONG. The State won't allow that. They come after you again with a punitive, post conviction, 60 day suspension. Unbelievable... We decided enough was enough, so we contacted Cameron and he helped us to come up with a strategy that allowed us to prevail at the BMV's suspension hearing. Cameron helped us subdue the beast. The additional, post-conviction suspension was dropped. Thank you, Cameron, for helping us get our lives back to normal.

When I first approached Cameron I was having a rough long day soon as I spoke with him he took a huge load off. He directed me an what I had to do an followed up with me to make sure I was on it. I was recently charged with Criminal Speeding in Maine while on vacation from Canada. After some investigation online I was shocked to learn that what I thought was a simple ticket, was actually a criminal charge that required my presence, or presence of counsel, at an arraignment (which was a proble...m as I work full time in Canada) . I called Cameron very last minute and he was able to ensure I didn't blow off the arraignment. He then worked with me, professionally and quickly, to bump the charge down to a ticket. Within only a few months, Cameron helped me avoid a criminal record and achieve the most successful result. He also filed the necessary motions with the Court to ensure my presence was never required at the proceedings. He was easy to talk to, plainly and promptly explained exactly what was happening with the process and what was required of me, and overall seemed like a really nice guy. I will note that Cameron cost $4,000USD. Although I avoided a criminal charge and/or a bench warrant for failure to appear in court, it was a large financial commitment. Depending on your profession and financial situation, I would examine what a minor criminal charge actually meant to you in the long run. For me, Cameron was worth the money.

Last year I was being charged with my fourth or fifth Operating after suspension, they were also going to charge me with operating an under registered vehicle, and operating after revocation. My initial charge was going to be a Felony, class B with a mandatory 6 months in jail. I was already Habitual... offender status, and hadn't held my drivers license for almost ten years. Cameron gave me great legal counsel and legal advice. He advised me to make my self look as good as i could before going to my hearing. He suggested volunteering for community service without being demanded to by the court system; and I did so. My legal history is very lengthy so the final offer i was given in the very end of my court hearing i find was reasonable. 2 weeks in county jail, and a deferred disposition that had nothing but things to flourish and benefit my life as regulations. Since then; i have successfully completed my deferred disposition agreement, and am back on the straight and narrow with my new life changes. Cameron represented me in court for a traffic related misdemeanor. I do not live in Maine, and I was going to be on vacation for my court date. He was extremely professional, attentive and detailed. He went to court for me and got the charges dismissed. I never had to come back up to Maine to resolve... this issue or step foot in court. Best of all my vacation to the West Coast was not impacted. I am very happy with the result and his representation and would recommend him to anyone looking for legal services in Southern Maine.
