I was recently charged with Criminal Speeding in Maine while on vacation from Canada. After some investigation online I was shocked to learn that what I thought was a simple ticket, was actually a criminal charge that required my presence, or presence of counsel, at an arraignment (which was a proble...m as I work full time in Canada) . I called Cameron very last minute and he was able to ensure I didn't blow off the arraignment. He then worked with me, professionally and quickly, to bump the charge down to a ticket. Within only a few months, Cameron helped me avoid a criminal record and achieve the most successful result. He also filed the necessary motions with the Court to ensure my presence was never required at the proceedings. He was easy to talk to, plainly and promptly explained exactly what was happening with the process and what was required of me, and overall seemed like a really nice guy. I will note that Cameron cost $4,000USD. Although I avoided a criminal charge and/or a bench warrant for failure to appear in court, it was a large financial commitment. Depending on your profession and financial situation, I would examine what a minor criminal charge actually meant to you in the long run. For me, Cameron was worth the money.
