I was recently charged with Criminal Speeding in Maine while on vacation from Canada. After some investigation online I was shocked to learn that what I thought was a simple ticket, was actually a criminal charge that required my presence, or presence of counsel, at an arraignment (which was a proble...m as I work full time in Canada) . I will note that Cameron cost $4,000USD. Although I avoided a criminal charge and/or a bench warrant for failure to appear in court, it was a large financial commitment. Depending on your profession and financial situation, I would examine what a minor criminal charge actually meant to you in the long run. For me, Cameron was worth the money.
