Julien D. Guerard

I am the founder and sole counsel of Guerard Law, a Maine based corporate law firm specializing in startup law, transactional business law, and succession planning. In addition to my solo work, I am General Counsel of the Hissong Group, a Maine based Group with companies across the construction, real estate. concrete, and financial services sectors. 

As a Maine native, I grew up in Lewiston and graduated from Hebron Academy where I captained the Boys' Varsity Hockey and Tennis Teams and served as a residential proctor. After graduating from Hebron, I spent a year at Concordia University in Montreal, Quebec studying government and French. I spent the next three years in Tampa, Florida studying at the University of Tampa, graduating with a B.A. in Government and World Affairs. 

After spending a summer abroad in Stalheim, Norway, I began my law studies at the University of Maine School of Law in the Fall of 2012. During my time at Maine Law, I served competed in a national moot court competition in Newark, New Jersey, was named as a Bride Entreprenurial Fellow for Summer 2013, and worked as a summer legal intern for a multinational shipping company.
