John P. Flynn III

John has been litigating cases before courts in Maine, New Hampshire and Massachusetts for approximately twenty-five years.  He has also successfully argued appeals before the Maine Supreme Judicial Court and New Hampshire Supreme Judicial Court.  In addition to all Maine courts, John is admitted to the bar for the U.S. First Circuit Court of Appeals, as well as Federal District Courts in Maine and New Hampshire.

By virtue of obtaining multi-million dollar verdicts for clients before Maine and New Hampshire juries, John earned admission to the prestigious Million Dollar Advocates Forum, only the thirteenth (13th) Maine lawyer to ever earn such distinction when admitted.  John practiced at other Maine law firms before starting Flynn Law Office, LLC, in 2011.

John's clients cite his compassion, attention to detail, willingness to listen, and going to great lengths to explain his advice and recommendations as primary reasons why they continue to seek him out for legal representation, and to recommend Flynn Law Office to their families, friends and associates. Much of John's litigation practice consists of clients referred to him by other lawyers and law firms.  He has built a reputation for taking on difficult  and complex cases, which many other lawyers would not accept, and generating successful outcomes for his clients.  John's tenacity and courtroom presence has earned the respect of judges, juries, peers and opposing counsel alike.

John has long been asked to present on a variety of topics at continuing legal education seminars, and continues to be sought after in that capacity.

Outside his law practice, John has contributed to the community through coaching and supporting many youth sports.  He has served on the Board of Directors for the Maine Parkinson's Society.  Prior to entering the legal profession, John worked in hi-tech for EMC Corp., including a 2.5 year residency in Europe as Director of European Marketing.
