I always tried to be an upstanding citizen but everyone makes mistakes and that caused me to face a DUI charge. I thought my life would be completely derailed but Mr. Brown and his wonderful associates helped me rebound from my spiral of stress. He not only overturned my ALS but also got my DUI down ...to negligent driving. I always thought a lawyer would be like a vulture picking at the decaying corpse of a client for every last penny and a "good enough" outcome but Mr. Brown subverted all those expectations. We were able to work out a reasonable budget that fits my income and was very professional and courteous and got to know me as a person, not just a downtrodden and desperate individual to exploit. I hired Atty. Steve Brown due to his word-of-mouth reputation for handling the types of situation that I currently found myself. I was arrested via summons for Conduct after an Accident and Negligent Driving. I also received a ticket for Failure to Obey Traffic Markings. This incident was more of a ...misunderstanding than an intentional crime on my end. Regardless, the law is the law and I did leave the scene after the accident, as did the other operator. Atty. Brown charged me an extremely reasonable flat fee to represent my interests in the matter whether I wanted to go to trial or work a deal with the State Police. He was very comprehensive when he laid out all of my options, not just the option that might serve him best financially or schedule wise. I was able to speak to Atty. Brown whenever I needed to and he was always available anytime day or night to return my calls. His support staff was great to deal with and very responsive as well. I would like to specifically mention his Paralegal Christina, as she kept me informed of every development at every stage of my case which was drawn out quite a bit longer than the typical case with similar issues. With all of this being said, I opted not to go to trial and Atty. Brown brokered a very good and mutually agreed upon deal. In Court, and through various communications, it was evident the excellent rapport he has with the law enforcement community in the area. And the results of my case were minimized to a small fine and 25 hours of community service. I feel that this component will serve the system much better than a little more revenue from fees and fines would. He also offered to move forward with a motion to annul my "arrest" as the charges were dropped. Needless to say, I was very pleased at the outcome of this case.

I lost my license due to a speeding ticket and was supposed to send my license in for a suspension, but failed to do so. I then got pulled over again and got charged with driving after revocation. Due to the DMV losing my license and delaying the process of me driving for 3 months, Mr.Brown was able ...to get to an understanding with the state trooper and the judge in my case and call it time-served with a 12-month probation period and a driving class. Not only did this help me with keeping my job, it made the money spent on him MORE than worth while... Thank you, Mr.Brown!

Used this lawyer for a DUI case. Did not win. Following DUI convictions there are a few other court dates including the potential installation of a breathalyzer in your car. They told me they had to charge me an additional $2000 for "gas money to concord." What are you taking, a private jet??? Needle...ss to say I opted out and went by myself hoping for the best. Court date took 3 minutes give or take, and I won. Go figure. Also, plan to get the paralegal or the secretary 98% of the time. Very nice people, mediocre service.
