Keri is a force to be reckoned with.  She is unparalleled in the courtroom, and brilliant beyond belief.   For the past 4 and a half years, she’s been my divorce/custody attorney.  She has the innate ability to separate the wheat from the chaff in regards to legal proceedings, and was able to reve...rse the guardian ad litem’s recommendations in my case to my benefit.   I have nothing but good things to say about Keri and her entire staff.  I’ve found her to be selfless and caring, and yet she has the ability to outwit the sharpest tack. I'd like to share my own honest, no BS experience with being one of Keri's many clients over the last 14 months as she has represented me through a long, painful divorce. I researched lawyers before I filed for divorce and everybody who recommended Keri said she's a good/great lawyer and would use he...r again. I now fall into that category. Keri is a very down to earth person and asked me how I wanted to handle things every step of the way, she even stepped back while I tried to mediate with my ex on our own without lawyers (unsuccessfully, unfortunately). I have a very unique case and Keri was very respectful of that fact and kept things as civil as possible (at least as civil as my ex would allow). She offered advice when I asked for it, and numerous times throughout the process she asked me how I wanted to proceed with everything, telling me how each option would probably end up. She didn't push me to do anything. She let me know what options I had and how they would likely end up and then let me decide what was in my child's and my best interest. In the end, I received a very fair verdict that allowed me to have equal time and rights with my child which is all that really mattered. We kept things very respectable on my side and presented only facts and in the end facts ruled the day. Keri just "gets it". She understands that the divorce process deals with people who have unique cases and I cannot thank her enough for helping me through what has been the most difficult time of my life. Keri was my divorce lawyer for about a year. During this time she seemed more concerned with charging me for every minute item instead of looking out for my best interests. Long story short, she came late to two of the court hearings, defied three court orders, and was very unprepared with question...ing and even forgot to bring vital papers to court. As a result, the judge openly stated that we would have to delay the court proceedings (third time) since Keri was woefully ill prepared. By the way, those three court proceedings cost me over $4000. After 1 year, $10,000 and no where closer to a divorce settlement, I had no choice but to cut my losses and hire a new attorney. To make a long story short, my new attorney settled the entire divorce proceedings in less than 6 months and cost about half the price from Keri. I will also say she is unprofessional, has a short temper, and seems to care only about her own needs.
