Ed has practiced law in New Hampshire for over thirty-seven years. Ed divides his time between Laconia and our Portsmouth office, located at the historic Jones House on the grounds of the Strawbery Banke Museum at 14 Hancock Street. He earned his BA from Bates College and his JD from Syracuse University. Ed is regularly named one of New Hampshire’s Top Real Estate Lawyers by New Hampshire Magazine.
Ed is a former member of the Belknap County, New Hampshire and American Bar Associations. He has served on the Board of Directors of the former Lakes Region United Way (now part of Granite United Way) and is a past President of Lakes Region Family Service Association (part of Child and Family Services of New Hampshire) . He is active in the seacoast community, having served on the Board of Directors of Portsmouth Advocates, Families First and the Warner House Association as well as the steering committee of the Friends of the South End. Ed is an avid sailor and is involved in the preservation and restoration of historic properties.
Ed’s practice areas include real estate, both commercial and residential, business and corporate work, estate planning, and probate.
