Biography
Prior to enrolling in law school Attorney Marconi attended Franklin & Marshall College in Lancaster, Pennsylvania where he graduated with Departmental Honors in Government and Economics. While at college Attorney Marconi was a member of the Pi Sigma Alpha honor society, advocated for political asylum detainees, published his Honor’s thesis on New Hampshire’s education funding problem, and interned for New Hampshire Senator Judd Gregg at his Washington D.C. office where he helped and assisted the Senator’s office with drafting the “No Child Left Behind” legislation.
After college Attorney Marconi enrolled in law school at the University of Maine School of Law in Portland, Maine. In addition to his academic studies he assisted Attorney Peter Loughlin in editing and researching the annual supplements for the New Hampshire Practice Series on municipal law and land use, briefly clerked for the Brentwood Probate Court, wrote his law school thesis on the taxation of electronic commerce, and was a student attorney with the Cumberland Legal Aid Clinic. As a student attorney he assisted clients in the areas of criminal defense, divorce, child custody, personal bankruptcy, and simple tort claims.
After passing the New Hampshire Bar in the summer of 2005 and sworn in as an attorney in October he was employed at the Strafford County Attorney’s Office. As an Assistant County Attorney he prosecuted misdemeanors and felonies cases at both the District and Superior Court levels. Upon leaving the County Attorney’s Office he briefly helped run a successful business in Newcastle, New Hampshire before returning to the practice of law as a general practitioner. Today Attorney Marconi’s practice handles estate planning, small business planning, commercial and personal injury litigation, criminal defense, family law, landlord/tenant disputes, and collections.
In his spare time Attorney Marconi enjoy climbing mountains, working in his garden, writing, reading, cooking Asian and Greek food, and attending and listening to opera.
