Skilled and effective counsel

Ben and his office manager, Sarah, are an incredible team. They provide wise counsel, exceptionally skilled & tactical plans for approaching potential litigation, and informed opinions on anticipated outcomes with the Courts. They are highly responsive, and manage cases with obvious professionalism- ...but also empathy. You absolutely want them in your corner.

Waste of time

I've consulted other lawyers over other issues in the past, so I'm familiar with the normal process. Questions typically get asked each way, and if they don't think they can take your case, they explain why not, make some suggestions on things you can try yourself, and the majority of the time will e...ven suggest trying another lawyer. This was not that. I was barraged with constant emails asking the same thing, clearly expecting very quick responses from me. Yet when I respond, it takes days to get a response back. No explaination at all was given for why my case wasn't taken, nor any suggestions about how to move forward, nor any suggestions of other lawyers to try. Wasted my time.

Failed

This firm got me a settlement but dismissed my professional input in the settlement and told me they knew what they were doing. They didn't!! When the resulting issues arose they then claimed to have no special knowledge or experience contradicting their ads and statements, failed to fix them and ...quit on me, leaving me to represent myself through the consequences of their poor decisions.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
