Charged $450 for a Consultation
I contacted Ms. Olcott after coming across her name is a web search for lawyers with federal employment law experience. She encouraged me to meet with her and demanded copies of the docket for my case, which took me hours to prepare. as an attorney she has access to these records electronically, but apparently she wanted me to provide them. The meeting was at her home which was untidy, and where there were other people within earshot, causing me concern about the confidentiality of our conversation. She charged me $450 dollars and said she would "let me know", only to hear from her that she wasn't going to take my case. My understanding was that there was a law in NH that the first meeting was a "consult" and was not billable. I did not get a refund.
