Construction Litigation

We hired Mr. DeLude originally to work on a breech of contract case. We were so pleased with how he handled this case, we have hired him for another one. The outcome was amazing and he knows the laws inside and out. He is our go to for anything legal. Would recommend to anyone and everyone.

Treasurer, Profile Estates Homeowners' Association

Attorney Matthew Delude won a complicated case for us. When we were first sued we assumed we had no chance and some of the neighbors consulted with a different lawyer who basically told us we had no chance. Attorney Delude disagreed and aggressively defended the case right out of the gate securing fu...ll victory on summary judgment at the trial level without a single hearing or disposition. He then preserved that victory on appeal and helped us take the necessary post victory steps. He was easy to talk with and explained things to us so that we understood the issues. I highly recommend this attorney and would seek his assistance if I run into more legal issues.

He Fought All the Way to the NH Supreme Court for Us and Won

I'm a homeowner in Merrimack. Our development was assigned common land in the 1970's. Over the years one house in our development that abutted the common land was sold a few times. One owner decided to build a house on the common land, which he argued was his property. It was a complicated case that ...meant lots of meticulous land and property title research because the common land hadn't been handled properly by the original builder of our neighborhood homes. Attorney Matthew Delude had to research back more than a century to find the applicable laws that proved our case. And our homes were only about 40 years old. To make it simple, this person sued all of us neighbors, saying he owned the common land outright. Matthew Delude took it to court and won. The man appealed the single judge's ruling. We asked Matthew to take it to the NH Supreme Court. I was not able to attend the first hearing at the lower court level, but was in attendance on the day Matthew appeared for us before the NH Supreme Court. I was totally impressed with how Matthew was able to clearly answer the five judges' questions and remain calm. The attorney who was bringing the appeal was flustered and disorganized. Attorney Delude was calm, clear, and full of knowledge that I think really impressed the five judges. In the end, he won the case for us; the man could not build a second home on the land, and the land reverted back to our development. To avoid any future issues, we donated the land to the town of Merrimack as conservation land. Matthew Delude also handled all the paperwork required for that land transfer to the Town of Merrimack. If I'm ever sued or in some kind of trouble again, I would hire Attorney Matthew Delude without hesitation because he is thorough, thoughtful, patient to deal with, and so effective in what he does. In our case he had to deal with over 70 homeowners, and he met with them to answer questions and explain the applicable laws. The neighbors I spoke to were thankful that he handled this issue so well for all of us.

Ability to unravel complex material quickly

I have a complicated libel case that this attorney was able to follow and unravel quickly with little assistance on my end. His ability to move through multiple documents and evidence to work up a case was astounding. He quickly put me at ease and is great about listening to my needs as well as advis...ing me on decisions along the way. Highly recommend!

Great to have on your side!

I am a building contractor that might be too trusting so I found myself doing $50,000 worth of extras on the word of my customer because we had a great relationship. Well, you kind of guessed it, I got stiffed for the full amount. I hired Matt Delude and I will tell you he was a real champion. We h...ad the truth on our side but not a lot more. Matt out lawyered the other side big time. This went to jury trial, which was ridiculous to begin with. We tried to settle and the other side would not, and it cost them. Matt became a friend too, not just an attorney. He has a work ethic like my own, and I really appreciated it. We would be on the phone or emailing sometimes after 10 pm, preparing for trial. Anyway, he worked tirelessly, has an abundance of passion for his work, and is incredibly intelligent. He researched case law so much more effectively than the other side did, and we won. I cannot say enough good things about this man, professionally or what I know of him personally either. Matt Delude--THE BEST!,
