Heather M. Sekella is the founding member and managing partner of Sekella Law in Manchester NH and has over 20 years of experience in divorce and family law. Prior to founding the law firm, Attorney Sekella practiced family law as a partner in a growing firm with four other attorneys and seven support staff, at Clark & Sekella. Attorney Sekella decided to "get back to basics" and opened SekellaLaw in 2007 with a goal of providing quality family law legal services in a boutique office setting focusing primarily on family law cases. SekellaLaw provides its clients with quality legal representation in all aspects of family law including complex divorce matters for those with business interests, multiple properties, alimony, contested parenting issues, relocation matters, child support, contempts and modifications of prior orders.

Replied last July 06, 2018Family law can be a very challenging area of law and as such, is not for everyone. Sometimes an attorney or staff member desires to embark on a different area of law, sometimes they move and sometimes they have a change in family commitments. These are things beyond a firm’s control yet may be perceived by an unknowing reader as something with which to find fault. It is important to manage client expectations. It is important to know that every client and case is very different. There will always be those that want to blame the attorney and write a negative review. To all of my clients who appreciate my candor, compassion and dedication thank you for the positive words of gratitude and encouragement. You make it easier for me to continue to do what I do.
