The net result, after the healing process and an external medical review to substantiate that the collision caused the injury, was a quick few-week negotiation and settlement disbursement process that was handled entirely by his office with barely any input from my busy schedule. His staff was always very courteous and pleasant to deal with, especially at a time where I needed much support to cope with the reality of the situation.
