My wife and I were recently in an unfamiliar situation with our earnest money deposit being disputed in a real estate transaction. My experiance With Attorney Piela was very pleasent. We had a tough case filled with very confusing family issues. Attorney Piela was tough but not aggresive. When we ran into frustrating situations about how to work out the child visitation & child support, he was always proffesional. This case wa...s full of typical he said she said confusing issues. That he had to seperate the drama from the actual issue. He kept his composure extremely well when the other Attorney was throwing dirt around and deliberately trying to cause us to get upset and me to react. Attorney Piela explained that staying strong not engaging in the tactic would work. Trust me it was hard for me being attacked but Attorney Piela not only got what was needed but got the back support issue done & accepted by the judge. To this day i use in daily life almost every day what he taught me to do in court, do not engage, stay calm and the true liar will loose it because they don't get the reaction of me jumping up & down angry. It actually makes them faulter and them loose it & i have nice low blood pressure and feel completely happy with very difficult issue's. I have had other Attorneys and I promise you that you will be as pleased as i was when all was said and done.

Don't waste your time, sanity or money with this guy. If you want to shoot yourself in the foot and actually help opposing counsel to win against you then by all means hire him. I would write more and keep giving specific details for the review of this person, but Avvo keeps rejecting more thoughtful...ly and completely written reviews.
