Misty Grace Delgado

I hired Misty for a family court matter and she completely mishandled my case. She would show up to court late or not at all. She never read anything in my file and she kept asking me the same questions that made it apparent that she did not take my case seriously or my situation at all. She did not ...speak up for me in court nor did she represent my case in an appropriate manner. She took my money and did nothing for it. I found out a year later that she was fired from her job because of her negligent behavior. Best decision that firm ever made. I wouldn't let Misty represent me for free. She is that bad.

Misty helped me at one of the toughest points in my life. Unfortunately, I became involved with the family court system. Misty listened to me and took my concerns/thoughts seriously. She explained everything to me in detail, making sure I understood the process. She made a difficult situation a bit e...asier. I'd recommend Misty to anyone needing representation.

My fiancé and I hired Ms.Delgado to handle a child support case for him along with other matters pertaining to this case. We hired her back in December of 2016 when we paid her cash for her services. Upon getting his receipt we noticed she had numerous misspellings ( his last name wrong, and our addr...ess) and even after pointing it out it never was resolved. We later found that the law office addressed she had on the receipt she gave us belonged to a firm ( Kilroy Law office) that she no longer worked for. She would show up late to court, not notify my fiancé as to what court house he was to report to, her mannerism was very unprofessional as she would conduct attitude with the clerks and made an attempt to interrupt the judge as he spoke. Misty, would fail to inform my fiancé and I on any updates, return phone calls or e-mails for months at a time! Misty would make up obsurb excuses as to why she could return phone calls or text messages such as a near death card accident, or being so sick she was unable to pick up the phone! When we finally decided to relive her and threatened file a complaint when she failed to return original documents he needed to finish what she started she returned the paper work months later! He sent her emails asking for a refund and she had not done so. She said she would be issuing a refund and he has not heard from her! She caused my family and I so much stress! Financially, emotionally, and in the end she caused more aggravation than we needed! She made matters worse! I do not recommend her, I actually Belinda she should be disbarred! Misty has a lot to learn and is a scam artist! Never again now we are looking for another attorney that we can't afford after just having a new born baby! Misty should not be allowed to practice anything! What makes it worse is ive known her since I was a little girl we grew up in the same neighborhood I even looked up to her as a mentor! What a major disappointment...
