Michael was an incredible asset to our team when understanding the ins and outs of zoning laws in Rhode Island. He quickly helped us understand the situation and what the best steps forward were. He is fast paced, very knowledgable and honest. Would highly recommend!

The best of the best

I was sent a non-renewal letter regarding the lease at my residence of nearly 4 years. My partner and I are in the midst of looking to buy a house, and I will be undergoing a medical procedure in January. Our lease was to be terminated Dec. 31. This presented us with an overwhelming sense of worry a...nd stress, as several factors including the holidays, moving in winter weather, and having to relocate weeks before a surgery hung over our heads. Mr. Riley was reassuring, understanding, and swiftly came up with a solution to our problem. We now have a 5 month lease extension thanks to Mr. Riley's diligent efforts. I feel extremely lucky to have Mr. Riley as our voice in such matters, and we will certainly continue to work with him as our search for a permanent residence continues.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
