Calm, Strategic Counsel in High-Conflict Litigation

Court can be a scary place, and the stress of uncertainty can be overwhelming. Courts are adversarial by nature, and unfortunately, Family Court is no exception. Despite the system stressing the importance of parents working things out for the best interests of the children, some parents prefer to us...e the courtroom as a tool for conflict rather than seeking resolution outside of the legal system. (For those interested, Bill Eddy, LCSW, JD, has written extensively on high-conflict personalities and how to communicate effectively with them). Thankfully, Stephanie, supported by her paralegals Brandy and Meredith, was by my wife’s side when she was unnecessarily forced back into litigation after nearly six years of relative peace. While facing the opposition intent on escalating conflict, Stephanie remained focused on the best interests of the child and advocated for fair, balanced provisions. Most importantly, when emotions ran high, Stephanie’s calm demeanor provided a grounding influence over the entire process. I highly recommend Stephanie and her team to represent you when you are faced with litigation and courtroom conflict.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
