she got this

A lawyer, according to Black's Law Dictionary, is "a person learned in the law; as an attorney, counsel or solicitor; a person who is practicing law." Law is the system of rules of conduct established by the sovereign government of a society to correct wrongs, maintain the stability of political and ...social authority, and deliver justice. Working as a lawyer involves the practical application of abstract legal theories and knowledge to solve specific individualized problems, or to advance the interests of those who retain (i.e., hire) lawyers to perform legal services. The only thing the dictionary is missing is a picture of this woman's face near the definition. Walking into a courtroom, Tasha and I verse my ex and his team of 4 lawyers, was so intimidating. Tasha smiled and said to be calm, we got this. And she did have it. She did a remarkable job and her extensive knowledge of the laws was amazing. She was able to object, correct, and down right stump a TEAM of highly-paid highly-rated overly confident lawyers. I do have to admitted watching them shuffle through papers and stumble on their words did ease the tension. I remember thinking how glad I was I hadn't hired them. So Needless to say we won, again! Tasha has been to court with me on this issues numerous times and everytime I am treated above my expectations. She is quick to respond by phone or email, which ever was most convenient for me. Her office is amazing at managing paperwork and details. I was never kept waiting. Given the horribleness of my case its nice to have Tasha on and by my side. (Her professionalism, knowledge and tact that made the other side look down right ridiculous was an entertaining extra).

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
