Attorney Richard D. Harrison - Exceptional

Attorney Richard D. Harrison provided outstanding guidance on numerous legal issues affecting my elderly father. Attorney Harrison was extremely knowledgeable and compassionate in addressing estate planning, trust creation, bypassing probate, health care coverage, and other elder law concerns. He was... thorough, responsive, and proactive while providing excellent follow-up. My father and I were extremely grateful for his services. If you need an exceptional lawyer who truly cares about his clients, look no further!

Terrible

After engaging his services for a flat fee, and a year and half later only some of the things we needed completed were accomplished by Mr. Harrison. However it took many calls and emails to get him to move on the items that he did finalize but there are still many more that needed completing. Very di...sappointed.

Terrible

My mother in law is in a nursing home so my wife and I are responsible for her affairs. My wife met with him on her mother's behalf to provide representation in the sale of her house. He indicated to my wife that he needed my 90 year old mother-in-law's credit card and charged it for $1,250 in adva...nce of doing some work for her. When I heard how much he was going to charge I immediately called him and told him not to do anything. I followed up a week later and told him we were going to use somebody else. He indicated at that time he would refund the money but didn't. I have called multiple times and sent a letter to him over the past 3 months to get my mother-in-law's money returned but he hasn't returned my calls or refunded the money. It’s bad enough to grossly overcharge for work we ended up having done for $150 but to not return a poor 90 year old women's money is disgraceful.

Thorough and focused

What a pleasure it has been to have Mr. Harrison as my attorney. He has provided so much to my case and been able to be my mouthpiece. He helped me to win sole legal and sole physical custody, helped to maintain restraining orders, helped me to stop frivolous motions by the defendant and helped to ke...ep the judge focused on what is important in the case instead of what the defendant rants on about. I would recommend Mr. Harrison to anyone and everyone -- he is very thorough, lets you speak and give all of the information necessary (even more information than is necessary, at times.) He is by the books, knows the code of law and has plenty of volumes in his office for reference if need be. There is a sense of genuine honesty from him -- not a typical slimeball lawyer, but one who is active in seeking justice and will not back down when his client is in the right.
