Sara Jean Kohls

After consulting with several other attorneys, I decided to hire Sara as I had a good initial read, and the price she quoted me was consistent or slightly below the other two consults I had. Throughout the several months we worked together, she was very slow to respond. When I was finally able to... connect with her, she seemed to completely forget the previous conversations or emails we had, and I ended up having to pay to go over the same information time and time again. On top of that, when we reached mediation, she had told me that things were communicated to the other parties lawyer, which during mediation came out not to be true. This completely broke my trust as her client. I personally had a very poor experience.

I should have known that Sara Kohls was not a good fit. She wanted an immediate retainer and would only accept payment via Venmo. First red flag. She was hired to help us evict a tenant, and was supposed to file the Summary Process in mid July. On August 1st she called me and apologized-she never hit... the submit button. I decided we would cut our losses and find another attorney. She was nice enough but not very organized.

Our family hired Attorney Kohls to handle a very difficult issue with our Association Board. She was very thorough, professional and knowledgeable. She was on top of all the legalities involved with Condo Associations. I would recommend her highly to anyone that needs assistance or help with Co...ndo Associations.
