Tom is simply the best. We are from NY and was visiting Springfield, MA and had a situation at an establishment over labor day weekend 2023. Called him on Monday of labor day and he called right back. Tom was very understanding and sympathetic as we explained what happened. He was always available an...d kept us in the loop of every step. The day before our hearing he was very specific with the procedure and guided us on questions and the best way to answer. During all phone conversations, we were in a state of panic and he was brutally honest and told us like it is. Did not sugar coat anything. From the very first phone call I made to Attorney Kokonowski I knew he was the right choice. He helped me rationalize the situation and gave me advice on handling the immediate circumstances before I even met with him the following day. I was arrested for OUI. The police report painted me in...well not the best light to say the least. From discussing my options, to the actual trial Tom Kokonowski was proactive and put my worries at ease. Tom's aggressive defense is the reason I do not have an OUI on my record today. Tom helped me through a very difficult time in my life. He handled my case with care and the utmost respect for me. He first connected with me on a personal level, he also treated me as a person and not someone facing criminal charges. He advised me every step of the way through this difficult proces...s. Right from the gate he fought in court for my rights. Even during arraignment when I thought I was going to be entered into the correctional system, his basic knowledge saved me from that. Later on down the road with his knowledge and amazing skill in the court room he was able to get very serious charges dropped.
