Biography
Mr. Moran's practice is focused on assisting small to mid-sized businesses with transactions, business strategy and employment matters. Prior to returning to private practice, Mr. Moran served as Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of AMREP Corporation (AXR New York Stock Exchange), a diverse media services and real estate holding company and of SatCon Technology Corporation (SATC Nasdaq), a leading alternative energy technology and power electronics company. His previous experience includes serving as senior legal officer for a Fortune 500 company guiding international regulatory and business strategy and as assistant general counsel for an EU-based global manufacturer. Mr. Moran also served as a senior federal enforcement attorney in the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency at its Washington, D.C. headquarters handling high profile enforcement actions, including the Boston Harbor case. He subsequently headed up the Environmental Practice Group for Rivkin, Radler, Dunne & Bayh’s D.C. office representing companies in judicial and administrative enforcement actions.
