Susan Devine

     I have 34 years of experience in child welfare law, including child abuse and neglect cases, adoptions, guardianships, paternity actions, and grandparent's rights in both the Probate and Juvenile Courts in Massachusetts.  I was an attorney for the Department of Children and Families for almost 33 years and have an excellent knowledge of the inner workings, as well as the policies and regulations of the Department.  I have a tremendous amount of experience in these areas as well as representing parties in Fair Hearings to contest a finding by the Department that a party has abused or neglected a child.  I know how to navigate the system and am a very strong advocate for my clients.

     I have excellent relationships with the courts in Southeastern Massachusetts and have the respect of the Judges before whom I practice.  That, coupled with my litigation skills and knowlege of the laws and regulations, allow me to provide excellent representation for my clients.
