After almost 40 years of marriage, my wife and I decided to seek an uncontested divorce. We had no children and no dependents, but we did have a multi-million dollar estate to divide and disposition. On the eighteenth calendar day after first meeting Lisa, our Petition was the first to be heard on the Court's docket, and after very brief testimony, the Judge approved the Separation Agreement. Approximately thirty days later, the Judge issued the final Judgement for Divorce. Throughout this whole time frame, Lisa managed the process efficiently, professionally, knowledgeably, and sensitively. Instead, Lisa presented evidence and advocated for me at a binding arbitration. The Court adopted the Arbitrator’s Decision and set clear deadlines for my ex to repay all of his debts, including an award of some attorney fees and expenses. When he didn't abide by those orders, Lisa advocated for me to have him put in jail. Within hours after the judge incarcerated him, he found the money to pay. At the start of my search for a lawyer, I consulted with a different lawyer who didn't have the time to take on a case as complex as mine with an unreasonable ex and multiple issues.
