Matt was our attorney for our 1st home purchase. From the first time we spoke on the phone Matt did a wonderful job easing our first time buyer jitters. Attorney Scafidi is not only an effective and competent attorney, he is also honest and is dedicated to his clients. Attorney Scafidi has represented me in the purchase of my home and has also assisted me having a small property line amended. With respect to the purchase of my home, Attorney Scafid...i did a top-notch job. There were a few clauses in the proposed closing documents sent by the seller’s attorney, that, at the end of the day, would not likely apply to my purchase and if they did, were standard. He could have left the clauses as is, but he worked to renegotiate those details and was able to convince the sellers to adopt language that was more beneficial to me as the buyer. Moral of the story? Not only is he a zealous advocate for his clients, he is not lazy and really digs into the finer details of every transaction. That’s exactly what you want in a lawyer. Attorney Scafidi’s work on my property line issues were equally impressive. A seemingly simple process, as all parties agreed to the amendment of the property line, became unnecessarily difficult when the Registry of Deeds would not accept the paperwork and were making demands that would have cost me big bucks, Attorney Scafidi persisted and went straight to the top. After a lengthy back and forth he was able to convince the Registry to accept the documents I had created for the amendment to the property line and saved me a lot of time, headache, and money. Attorney Scafidi gets results and he is the only attorney I would ever consider for my real estate needs. I have referred him to friends and everyone sings his praises.
