Atty Lynn Holdsworth is the best!
Lynn has been my attorney since 2012 when various modifications needed to be made to agreements with my ex-wife. She continues to help me as life stages with my kids change. I can not recommend her highly enough! She has always been nothing but compassionate, thoughtful and thorough! She has such an excellent way about her. She is tough and firm with her opponents, (and me when she needed to be when I was speaking with my emotions!) Please call her if you need assistance, she will make navigating the family law system much easier!

Fence Issue
Ms Holdsworth counseled me recently about a fence issue. I was over emotional about a horrible fence my neighbor put up and blocked my water view. She talked me off the ledge and helped me understand the legalities of the situation. Lynn advised me not to seek litigation. It was definitely the right decision. She is thoughtful and helpful and knows her content area. Highly recommended.

Thank you, Patrice. I'm so glad I was able to help you out with this one. As you know, litigation is not always the best answer.

Lynn may have saved my life - she's an excellent, caring & skilled lawyer
I went to Lynn when I was in the process of divorcing an abuser who had threatened that I would be dead before I was divorced. Lynn was obviously knowledgeable, professional and great at the law, but she was also incredibly kind to me in the middle of one of the scariest things I've ever been through. She was patient, reassuring and supportive, and she got me out of that marriage, and to safety. My abuser had made specific threats against my dog, and later kidnapped her, and Lynn was able to do the impossible and get my dog back. She worked really hard for that to happen, and also took the time to check in on me emotionally, and dealt with me when I was at my worst; I don't think I would have gotten through my divorce, and especially those weeks when my dog was kidnapped, without Lynn. Once my dog was home, Lynn acted really quickly, in this really smart, strategic way, to make sure that I would always be my dog's person and we wouldn't be separated again and my ex wouldn't be able to retaliate against us. She really understood how bonded my dog and I are to each other, and she's an expert on the law and how it works, and how to use it to get her clients where they want to be. My ex was trying to prolong a simple divorce, and Lynn quickly saw his bs for what it was, and then acted strategically to stop the bs in its tracks and get me divorced. She's a skilled negotiator and mediator and she worked effectively with the lawyers my ex brought in, to get me free. She's not someone to be messed with, and that was important to my case when my ex and his lawyers tried; Lynn shut it down. Throughout all of it, Lynn asked me what I wanted, and what my priorities were, and then focused on making it happen. Lynn clearly knows what she's doing, and I never got the sense that this was a just a job to her - she was clearly invested in me, my safety, my dog's safety, and my case. She was also always upfront and honest with me, and told me when something was unlikely, or might be a waste of my time and money to pay her to try to do, and then gave me the final say. She practices with a lot of integrity. I'm grateful to be divorced, and safe, and although it's been over 5 years, I think about Lynn often, and feel so grateful that she was my lawyer. I'm not sure that I'd still be alive right now if my lawyer hadn't been so skilled and invested in my safety. I highly recommend her.
