This the worst mistake imaginable. He doesn't hold himself to the rules of professional conduct, let's be clear. He didn't disclose a conflict of interest. It turns out that my ex is living with his relative. Steve knew this from the beginning and he was communicating with my ex through this relati...ve from day 1. I felt stuck with him, he did things that were so bad I thought there was something wrong with him, that he was having an emergency or something. One of them was when I was on the stand, I had to say 'one second your honor, Steve, you need to object.' Steve was playing a game on his iPad and he got caught. I don't know why the judge allowed him to continue, I would have thought the integrity of the judicial process was more important than protecting an incompetent representative. I finally had enough of this, and I fired him. He retaliated and tried to sabotage me and badmouthing me. There was no rules of professional conduct and if he treated the adverse party the way he treated his client he would have been disbarred.

Steve started out great, but he lost interest in working for me. After he failed to file a motion that was really significant he began arguing about it and not only did he refuse to take responsibility he has attempted to charge me an ungodly amount of money for me trying to address this and a dozen ...mistakes. I wondered why he was so careless, it seemed like he was intentionally doing things that were not going to be successful, and I find out he went on a vacation with my wife's attorney. When I asked him about it he said some nasty personal things about me. When I showed him the evidence he blocked me and hasn't returned my emails. This guy tried to force me to sign away my house and everything and get nothing, but really I hired him and he did nothing. He is just not a good person to do business with and he is not a nice person if you ask him to explain any answers to you. I dont have the feeling that he is able to do the work, and hes willing to pay himself twice.
