Mahsa Khanbabai is founder of Khanbabai Immigration law and has dedicated her legal career to immigration issues, representing individual, nonprofit, educational and business clients. Her desire to help international students stems from her father’s experiences in the U.S. as a J1 medical resident from Iran and her own experience of applying for permanent residence and citizenship.
Attorney Khanbabai has been in practice for over 21 years and currently serves as an elected Director of American Immigration Lawyers Association Board of Governors. She is a member of the International Medical Graduate Taskforce and authors an article on international medical graduates and the J-1 Waiver process for the Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education publication on Immigration Law and AILA's Waiver Handbook.
Locally, Attorney Khanbabai serves on the MetroSouth Chamber Executive Committee as Vice President Community Relations and the Easton Human Resources Board Chair. She is adjunct professor at Stonehill College teaching a course on Immigration Law.
