Megan B. Owens

Megan B. Owens joined Keches Law Group in Bridgewater, Massachusetts as an attorney in August 2022. While attending law school, Attorney Owens worked as a law clerk in the firm’s workers’ compensation department. Upon graduation from law school, Keches Law Group invited Attorney Owens to join its firm as an attorney working in the personal injury department. Attorney Owens is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth School of Law in Dartmouth, Massachusetts. Prior to joining Keches Law Group, Attorney Owens interned for the Massachusetts House of Representatives. She received a Citation from the House of Representatives in 2021 to commemorate the work performed within the 11th District in New Bedford and Acushnet, Massachusetts.

During her time in law school, Attorney Owens was heavily involved in Delta Theta Phi Legal Fraternity, serving as its Dean during the 2021-2022 academic year. Her commitment to the organization resulted in her being awarded the annual Delta Theta Phi award for outstanding contribution to the fraternity. Attorney Owens was involved in other campus organizations such as the Student Bar Association and the Law Association Against Sexual Exploitation.

Attorney Owens originally hails from Mount Vernon, Illinois, where her family still resides. She moved to New England for law school and fell in love with its robust culture and history. Attorney Owens currently calls New Bedford, Massachusetts her home and frequents Buttonwood Park in her spare time with her dog, Beau.
