Matthew P. Albanese is the founding attorney of Albanese Law, LLC in Milton and concentrates his practice in estate planning, elder law, mental health law and disability law. He serves as a Past President of the Massachusetts Chapter of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys as well as a member of the Plymouth County Bar Association, Norfolk County Bar Association, Norfolk & Plymouth Estate and Business Planning Council, and Boston Bar Association. Mr. Albanese has written articles on estate planning and frequently holds seminars for civic and professional organizations. As an elder advocate, Mr. Albanese has frequently testified before the Massachusetts State Legislature on matters affecting the rights of seniors and the disabled population. A former local official, Mr. Albanese chaired the Plymouth County Selectmen’s Association and was a member of the Regional Task Force on Casino Impacts. A staunch advocate for seniors, Mr. Albanese led the effort to expand the senior work off tax program for area residents and has testified before the state legislature and executive agencies on matters affecting the quality of life for the aging and disabled population. He also volunteered for the Council on Aging. Mr. Albanese was a member of the West Bridgewater Lions Club and West Bridgewater Public Schools Strategic Plan Committee. Prior to starting Albanese Law, LLC, Mr. Albanese worked as an Associate with the firm Colucci, Colucci Marcus & Flavin, P.C. located in Milton, Massachusetts. He also served as the Legal Counsel to the Massachusetts House of Representatives Committee on Medicaid. Mr. Albanese has been featured on Money Matters Talk Radio 970AM and WXBR 1460 AM. In 2009, he was named Citizen of the Year by the Rotary Club of the Bridgewaters. Mr. Albanese is a graduate of Providence College, Providence Rhode Island; Suffolk University Law School, Boston, Massachusetts; and Suffolk University’s Sawyer School of Management; Boston, Massachusetts where he obtained his M.B.A. with a concentration in international business.

Great lawyer!
From our initial consultation,,I found Matthew Albanese to be caring and considerate in assisting me to set up my will, trust, durable power of attorney and special needs trust for my adult handicapped son, Arthur. When the time came to see my condo and purchase a home, I did not hesitate to contact Matt again, He worked tirelessly, through three potential buyers and a difficult bank experience but due to his efforts all worked out to a successful conclusion, I would not hesitate to hire this great attorney for any of your legal needs.

Attorney Albanese was a very caring and efficient attorney who helped my mother through her estate planning needs. During a stressful time Matthew Albanese has been extremely helpful and has eased any anxiety I’ve had regarding my situation. Extremely Professional and Knowledgeable
Attorney Albanese is extremely professional, knowledgeable and compassionate, as well as very kind and approachable. I had a relative who was terminally ill, and he came to her house, assessed her estate planning needs and delivered a quick turn around. Having her affairs in order was a great relief to her, which in turn was a great relief to us. I highly recommend him.

During a difficult time, Mr. Albanese was VERY helpful
We hired Mr. Albanese to do an estate planning package for my mother right after my father passed away. He was very kind, considerate and patient as we had a lot of questions! More than just a lawyer, a tremendous human being.
Matt was originally hired by my father to go through the process of setting up care for my mother and legal affairs for my fathers estate. To complicate things my father's untimely passing left a mess behind. Matt helped us sort through everything with patience and compassion. He was sensitive to what needed to be done and most important provided sound legal advice for what seemed like an unending stream of problems that required resolution.
