Stephen M. Scolnick

Stephen Scolnick failed on multiple levels to provide the service and professionalism expected. Throughout the summary process eviction, he was curt and seemed frustrated that I did not already know the answers to the questions I posed to him. He did not advise us of any risks and benefits that wou...ld have clearly been foreseeable to a seasoned lawyer, such as himself. He was unresponsive the day before court when I reached out to him, but requested documents from me the morning of court, only 30 minutes before our scheduled time. He failed to provide counsel that would have prevented our case from being dismissed. He lost a simple case of non-payment of rent AFTER we had received execution orders, and then arrogantly advised us that we had the right to start the process over from the beginning, but he would not represent us. As if we would ever choose him to represent us again! He truly wasted our time and money, and then added insult to injury with his unprofessional manner. Anyone looking for an attorney whose interests are to protect yours should not choose him. IN MY OPINION.
