Johanna Griffiths

Johanna Griffiths is a criminal defense attorney at the Law Offices of Russell Matson, where she represents clients at Clerk Magistrate Hearings, arraignments, pretrial hearings, criminal trials, and RMV (Registry of Motor Vehicle) hearings

As an intern with the New England Innocence Project, Attorney Griffiths reviewed cases for potential avenues to exoneration.  From homicide and rape cases to arson, Attorney Griffiths sought to assist men and women who were alleging wrongful Griffiths graduated from New England Law | Boston, where she concentrated her studies on criminal law and procedure. As a law student, she represented clients in all stages of criminal matters in her role as a student attorney with CPCS. There, she worked busy arraignment sessions, conducted research and developed trial theory, and argued on behalf of clients in various types of hearings.

In the past, Attorney Griffiths has owned and managed a real estate brokerage where she specialized in assisting first time buyers with the purchase of their first home. Additionally, she has worked as a corporate litigation attorney representing small businesses from startup through litigation.

Attorney Griffiths lives in West Roxbury with her husband and their dog Obi.
