I would highly recommend hiring Emmanuel if you want to win your case.

When you hire Emmanuel Dockter, you hire a true advocate for yourself. He is a seasoned professional that knows the law and how best to present your case to the judge for a favorable outcome. When researching attorneys for my transition from child support to alimony - I knew that I needed someon...e with courtroom experience, intelligent arguments, and excellent negotiation skills. A friend of mine had used him for a messy divorce case where child sharing was an issue and was very pleased. I wanted someone to fight my case. I got so much more than that, Emmanuel was sensitive and aware of final costs, clear and effective communicator, clearly passionate, he actually listened to me and I felt like he cared. That fact alone surprised me and was a very different than my prior attorney experiences. Alimony laws had been changing – I had no idea what to expect. I was nervous going in, but after meeting with Emmanuel, I felt that he would be the one to help me - - and he did! The outcome of my case was better than I had anticipated.

Very similar experience to "Good talker, Dismal effectiveness" and worse

I am a past client. I wanted to give some time between my dealings with this attorney and posting my review so I could perhaps post most objectively. This is the first time I have completed an online review for this sort of professional services. However, I feel so adamantly about the lack of prof...essionalism and expertise of this attorney, I have been prompted to rate him wherever possible to save other potential clients during what is likely this most vulnerable time of life. As suggested in the title, I had a very similar experience to the previous poster. However, I will add that this attorney was further unprofessional and unethical by talking about clients to unrelated others - both to me about other clients and about me to other unrelated people who then passed on to me what they referred to as "inappropriate and unprofessional comments" by him - inflating his billing, submitting unclear, incorrect Motions, and arrogant overconfidence in the Courtroom which ultimately hurts his client and doesn't bode well for trying to settle with the opposing attorney. I was originally interested in his practice because of his partner who is older and seemed to have lots of experience, but he answered the phone and I ended up stuck with him. Anyway, I later observed that she seems to not do much beyond being a figurehead anyway. I would adamantly discourage anyone from hiring this attorney. There are plenty of other options out there - many good ones, but this is not one of them.

VERY VERY good & pleasant lawyer, will give u peace of mind through out!

I move to Boston a few years ago, after my move my ex wife & i decided to end our marriage.. not knowing what to do I checked for reviews & started calling each lawyer that I saw online. I came across Atty. Emmanuel and after talking to him I felt like I" was talking to a friend that cares, you dont ...get that its all about the money & per hour charges feeling that you get on other lawyers. I felt really comfortable, so I decided to see him in person. He gave me importance, you can call him or email him & he gives you his time no matter how you think your concerns are so shallow. he is very well grounded Lawyer & thats what I admire about him. through my divorce at times I was overseas.. Atty. Emmanuel would remind me of hearing date and if I had a problem he takes care of it right away before you even ask him too. he tries very hard to make his clients comfortable through out this horrible experience in one's life. THANK you so much Atty. Emmanuel. please stay grounded, humble & remember all the good habits as you go through the years. I highly recommend Atty. Emmanuel to whoever is looking for a divorce lawyer, you'll know what I mean when you see this man in person.

Outstanding!

Emmanuel Dockter erased all my cynicism about lawyers He never polished his own star to get my business, or ran up my bill as others had done. Instead he patiently listened to my whole divorce soap opera so he could really understand every angle of my case. He then put together a great strategy in fr...ont of the judge, that was so hard to argue with, the other side just had to settle. He called me up numerous times during the trial to address my concerns and tell me not to worry. "You are going to win this case," he said And I did.

The Best Divorce lawyer in the boston area

I will never forget my first conversation with divorce attorney Emmanuel Docktor, because it delivered me from so much soul crushing anguish. He was first of all very empathetic from the word go concerning my brutal custody battle. Secondly he grabbed the bull by the horns saying some brilliant thi...ngs that lifted my spirits & feeling of confidence. He invested plenty of time talking to me about his legal strategies but surprisingly never overcharged. He was collegial with opposing counsel, masterful in front of the judge, brilliant in his cross. He achieved total victory, and thanks to him I can sleep at night.
