She will blame you, the unknowing client, for her own mistakes

Dana and Cordell and Cordell are predatory. They preys on vulnerable individuals during their most difficult times. I hired them on May 16, 2023, paid a $2,650 retainer that was fully used by June 9, 2023, when I fired them for their abysmal performance. They did nothing to help my case—in fact, the...ir incompetence forced me to represent myself from June to November 2023, costing me full custody of my children, which I’d had for the previous year. I went from full custody to 50/50 because they left me financially crippled and unable to hire another attorney. Then, they had the gall to send a $4,000 bill for services they never completed, which they sent to collections, tanking my credit. This firm is a disgrace to the legal profession.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
