Admitted to the Massachusetts bar in 2006, Mr. Robertson is a member in good standing. Attorney Robertson graduated from New England Law | Boston in 2006, where he was the Current Developments editor of the New England Journal of International and Comparative Law and a member of the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court team. Attorney Robertson clerked for the Boston law firm, Morrison Mahoney LLP. He began his career as a civil litigation associate at the Boston area firms, Gargano & Associates, P.C. and Sullivan & Collins, LLC. Mr. Robertson also has experience working as a Licensed Social Worker at a mental health nonprofit in Boston.
In addition to his experience as a social worker, Attorney Robertson's interest in probate law grew through pro bono work at the Suffolk County Guardianship Clinic through the Volunteer Lawyers Project of the Boston Bar Association. His litigation background, experience in mental health service, and interest in estate planning inspired him to open his own office. He has experience drafting wills, trusts, powers of attorney, health care proxies, and living wills and welcomes opportunities to assist with special needs and long-term care planning. He has been a court appointed Guardian to make personal and healthcare decisions for incapacitated persons, and he assists clients in getting appointed Guardian through the probate court, advising them on their powers and responsibilities, and helping prepare proper accountings to the court. He has been accepted to the upcoming 2016 Mental Health Litigation Division Training Certification through the Committee for Public Counsel Services.
In addition to an attorney, Mr. Robertson is a Licensed Social Worker and has over five years experience working on behalf of people receiving mental health services. He is knowledgeable about community resources and has years of experience working with state and local agencies. He holds a finance degree from the Isenberg School of Management at the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
Mr. Robertson is a member of the Boston Bar Association, Massachusetts Bar Association, and the Caring Force. His other interests include basketball, Middle Eastern cuisine, and working with his family's deaf dog, Pudding.
