Wyckoff Nissenbaum

Wyckoff represented me in my divorce. I was in a bad relationship and wanted to keep distance from my partner who kept requesting in-person meetings (which stressed me out). Wychoff went as far as suggesting we: 1. Meet in his office 2. I arrive first and go to room A 3. They arrive and go to ro...om B 4. He will run back and forth between rooms so I never have to see them 5. I'll leave after they leave Amazingly, they dropped the in-person meetings and we were able to finalize the divorce paperwork over email. He was also great support on the court date when the divorce was finalized. I have other stories of how he helped me throughout my divorce, there's honestly not enough room to write them all here. I couldn't recommend a more supportive and knowledgeable attorney.

Wycoff is a great lawyer and has an amazing legal team. He is very knowledgable and professional. He was my lawyer in my family law case and was there for me from start to the finish. He always answered all my questions, understood the issues patiently and guided me throughout the process. I came to Wyckoff Nissenbaum already with an agreement-in-theory with my ex-wife about the terms of divorce, but the first draft my wife's lawyer had created had some issues. Wyckoff helped me identify additional problems, suggested solutions to the problems, and helped me create draft #2 which ultim...ately my wife accepted. Then Alyssa guided me through my day in court. I did a lot of the work myself and needed a lot less than the typical divorce client, but what I needed, they provided in high quality at a reasonable price.

I had the pleasure of working with The Law Office of Wyckoff Nissenbaum for about one year or so. Wyckoff and his team proved to me great professionalism and made the entire process pleasant. They did not waste any efforts in making sure my questions got answered, representing me in Court and working... with me to get the best possible outcome. Whatever you do , do not hire this man . He is rude , childish , and plain unprofessional. He is also horrible at representing his clients . He does not listen to what they want , not does he seem to care what they want . He was unable to gain me any positive results and was unwilling to even try to... get better results. He also was unable to file motions properly. He is unable to do any “ Quick thinking “ or “ think on his feet” . If something unexpected happened ( which happend a lot because he was not properly prepared.. ever!! ) he would just stand there and go “ um um um “ . He also does not know the law as he should . He objected and the judge told him his reason was not correct and was allowed, the. 2 seconds later he did the same thing and the judge got aggravated with him. He is also unwilling and unable to prove how he does his billing . Has lied to me on numerous occasions, and also given horrible advice. If you give him any constructive criticism he does not know how to handle It and if you go against his advice he will throw a childish tantrum inside the courthouse . DO NOT HIRE THIS MAN . The only good thing that I can say is that his legal assistant is very nice and also twice the lawyer he is . Unfortunately you can’t hire her or have her represent you , you get Wyckoff .
