Relationship: Fellow lawyer in community
Exactly suited for the needs of start-up employees, is my thought when I think of Kate as an employment lawyer. As an immigration attorney, I have clients, colleagues, and friends, who need advice from an employment attorney. Kate has a genuine understanding of the challenges and issues facing employees, particularly employees of start-ups and of small businesses in the technology sector. It is not unusual for Kate to consider the various aspects of her clients’ circumstances. In the two years I have known Kate, she has consulted with me on how the immigration law might affect her clients’ employment situation…without any prompting from her clients. Kate cares for her clients, and will think and go beyond the specific employment issue they initially approached her for.
