Atty Malden had difficulties obtaining cases files from the DA and never followed up on issues I brought to his attention. I felt at times I was representing myself in a court of law where I have no experience. It seemed like he was there just as a formality while I had to research and/or investigate... my defense before trial. While my case lasted over 18 months there were a few occasions where he was late for court. I was there and had to stand up and say my attorney is running late even though I couldn't reach him. This is not what you want or need in a criminal defense attorney especially the morning of a court appearance.
