WORST LAWYER EVER

She doesn't even deserve a star!! Renee Capucci was court appointed to me. She looks down on you and talks to you like your low class and shes upper class. August 11 2015, I had a baby. On September 15, 2015 she passed away from Sids. She was a month and 4 days old. Dcf stepped in to do their investi...gation, which involves taking any children out of the house until they make sure there was no foul play involved. Once it was determined it was sids, I had to go to the 72hr hearing at court. Renee Capucci was appointed to me that day. She told me to WAIVE MY RIGHTS that because of my past, it would be a hard fight to win my daughter back. Now I just lost a baby and had my other 15month old taken from me the same day. I'm still in shock and my heads not there so of course I listen to a lawyer thinking she was looking out for my best interest. When in fact she wasn't. Dcf was giving me my daughter back but I waived my rights so my parents stepped in and have her. I had to do a 6mon service plan, which i complied to. When I met with my dcf worker, she asked me "What was I thinking, she told me to get a different lawyer" From what I heard from others about dcf is not to trust them. Be very Cautious. That's why I didn't listen. Renee would never call me, met her once and that was when the case first started. After that I would have to show up to court and basically she spoke for me, but yet never talked to me. She told me once not to show up for one of the court dates because it wasn't anything, little did I know the court keeps track on who shows up so it looked bad on my part. And Also conflict of interest, while i am not at she is talking to my ex boyfriend/father of skylah and his mother, knowing I have a open DV case against him and his mother hates me. So I have no idea what said but she had absolutely NO RIGHT talking to them. Then there was a foster care review, my dcf worker had a family emergency so she wasn't present and wasn't able to tell me. My lawyer was supposed to inform me about meeting. My mother was there, my lawyer (renee), and dcf supervisor. My mother said they were talking about me and my lawyer (renee) DID NOT STICK UP FOR ME ONE BIT!!!!!! All she mentioned was a DV case that dcf already knew about. A few weeks ago, I met up with my new dcf worker, she said she was already filled in about my case and she can not believe I waived my rights, When they were giving her back. Now they want me to sign temporary Guardianship to parents. I have nothing against my family, they are doing a great job, but if there was no reason to take my 15month old away (which shes 2 now) I want to contest, I'm not going down without a fight. I called Renee and of course she never answers!! So I left her a voicemail, I was not mean or angry. I said " I just met with my worker and because of my lawyer(which is you) telling me to waive my rights. That is why I do not have my daughter back. I Also said that you knew everything i went through and you did not look out for my best interest. Technically that's Lawyer Negligence. I told her I do not want her as my lawyer anymore, I will find one that will actually helping me not look down and judge me. I said I hope your having a great life, because YOU RUINED MINE!! I don't know how you can sleep at night but thank you for nothing" That was the voicemail I left. She called back hours later saying " I got your message, I need your address." First off you have my file with my address. So after I called and put a complaint in about her with the public counsel services. I said I want to fire her and file a complaint. She said that was fine. I did it and now I'm waiting. Then my parents receive a certified letter from Renee stating she put a motion in to withdraw from case. That's Great because I fired you first, trying to act like she dismissed herself from my case. NO I FIRED YOU!!!! I would not recommend Renee Capucci to represent anyone who doesn't have money or has a past. worst ever!!!
