The child involved has significant needs, and the removal has caused trauma that will likely be long‑lasting. As someone who works closely with families and vulnerable individuals, I expected a higher standard of diligence, communication, and professional responsibility. Instead, DCF has inflicted serious harm. This agency needs to be shut down, and all Federal funding cut off. I am sharing this review so other families will be encouraged to speak out.
