Giving praise where it is warranted

I have Pamela Morris represent me in numerous occasions , and I was very happy with the work she did ,the arguments made in my behalf were clear and to the point ,I especially liked the way she would research cases whenever I asked her to she has filed multiple motiions on numerous cases I've had to ...fight and she did fight All the way to the end ,unless I asked her to speak with the prosecutor to get a plea deal for me and without a doubt she has gotten me the best deal possible more than once. If not for her I would have served many more years of incarceration then I did . I would hire her if a second to represent me fortunately I have changed my life and do not have the need for a criminal defense attorney. I just wanted to give her the praise she deserves keep up the good work ,you really are a credit to your profession. Respectfully submitted

Best lawyer

I have spoken with Pamela Morris on a few occasions and she has been nothing but friendly, informative, helpful, and thorough. She is top notch when it comes to lawyers. She knows what she’s talking about, and puts a lot of time and effort into each and every one of her clients. I met Pamela when she... was my fiancé’s lawyer for a case, and just by hearing what she had to say to him before court, and listening to her in court, I could tell that not only was she good at her job, but that she truly cares and will go to any lengths to get the best outcome possible. With her knowledge of the law and set of skills she has, my fiancé was able to walk out of court being found not guilty. I was very impressed. At one point I had an ongoing issue that Was happening outside the courtroom that seemed to just be going back down the same dead end, until I consulted with Pamela Morris. She gave me some advice, along with a few avenues to approach the matter. I took her advice, and was able to quickly resolve the problem without having to take step into court. As I said before she knows what she is talking about. I’d hire and trust her with any legal issues that I had. She has an ability to learn and see a case from all different avenues, which is very reassuring and hopeful being the client. She’s very reliable and personable. I know that if I called Pamela, and she couldn’t pick up at that very moment, that I would hear back from her that day. That is practically unheard of when it comes to lawyers. I would recommend her as a lawyer to anyone any day of the week.

A True Professional.

I hired Attorney Pamela Morris three separate times over the past decade for solely criminal defense cases. They were very serious crimes, all major Felonies, including Mayhem, Assault & Battery with a Dangerous Weapon, Assault & Battery on a Police Officer, Threats, Intimidation, etc.. She really ...knows the Law and the legal process, inside and out. Pamela's years of experience with the local Boston court system also means that she knows most of the personnel from the judges and the ADAs to the clerks, probation officers and police. She will give you a straight forward opinion of your case with no false promises. She will outline all of your potential options and defenses and will give you her honest opinion of what will work. I would hire her again in a heartbeat.

"I have watched Attorney Pam Morris handle criminal matters in Courts throughout the Commonwealth of Mass, and sat next to her on Mass. CLE meetings. At every hearing Attorney Morris was professional, incredibly knowledgeable, moved to dismiss criminal matters on her client's behalf, and was shown respect by the Judges and Clerks [important]. Any defendant would be lucky to have such an experienced, battle-tested trial attorney like Pam Morris by their side when facing criminal charges."

Professional misconduct

This lawyer was disciplined by a state licensing authority in 2005.

Public Reprimand issued in MA, 2005

updated on 11/11/2015

Public reprimand means that an attorney did something wrong, but may still practice law. The attorney was given a public reprimand in hopes that he or she will not repeat the behavior. Details of the infraction are made part of the public record.

Pamela’s comment:

“The client wanted to avoid going to trial but the Judge would not grant a continuance. The case went forward to trial but on a recess the client ran out of the courthouse and disappeared. The Judge insisted on continuing the trial without her. I remained silent trying to get her a mistrial and this silence was later used by her appeals attorney to get a new trial and it worked. I was reprimanded for this failed tactic. My client pleaded out to time served.”
