We needed her help with a condo filing, she had been a friend’s Lawyer. We had free consults and a quote for the work, we provided everythibg from documents to copies of plans and easements from the clerk. She literally needed to file for us and that was all. She charged us 4times what she quoted bec...ause she had to go to the courthouse twice, once to get her own copy of the plans and another time to file. Sje preferred to talk on the phone, because she could charge every hour (and she would talk about her own condo for 50% of the time) She definitely up charged. Right at the end she disappeared from communication, because she ’had given us to much free advice’ so she left us with her page. Tex was the best interaction the whole time, very professional. I would have worked with him over her, but I can not recommend her at all. As her name implies, she is the lawyer that will cause you Payne.
