David Kelston

Attorney Kelston's practice focuses on commercial and business litigation, including real estate development disputes, construction litigation, partnership break-ups and other closely-held business disputes, and business valuation matters. He has litigated divorce cases requiring the valuation and distribution of significant business assets and high asset probate cases. Over his almost thirty years of practice, in addition to business litigation, he has tried significant cases involving first amendment and other constitutional and civil rights, class actions and criminal cases. A number of his appellate cases have established Massachusetts law in the areas of business valuation, fiduciary duty law, and first amendment and criminal procedure law. Mr. Kelston is a 1966 graduate of Columbia College and a 1982 graduate, magna cum laude, of Harvard Law School where he was a member of the Harvard Law Review.
